A customized, multisite structure that’s easily editable and fully integrated with e-commerce frameworks.
Wacoal — a women’s lingerie brand headquartered in Japan — wanted to build out the editorial sections of their websites. This required a new backend architecture in WordPress to allow easy editing and smooth integration with their ecommerce platform.
Wacoal discovered CemtrexLabs through WordPress VIP — a high-end enterprise hosting platform that features C-Labs as an Agency Partner — and asked us to develop a new website structure that was dynamic but accessible. Wacoal needed to be able to easily maintain their new site while maximizing their creativity.
The team engineered a backend infrastructure using WordPress’ Gutenberg Blocks to allow for customized page elements in a user-friendly interface. C-Labs also empowered Wacoal’s marketing team by training them to use the new framework and unlock its full potential.
The C-Labs team kicked off by building a full sitemap of the existing editorial site structure, allowing both companies to analyze user flow and understand lead generation funnels.
With a customized enterprise WordPress deployment built on Gutenberg blocks, the Wacoal team now has a way to manage the site and update dynamic content – without the fear of straying from core design guidelines.
We provided the training to Wacoal’s marketing team to ensure that they were ready to go as soon as the site was live. Using WordPress and the Gutenberg Blocks system, the Wacoal team now has a solid foundation upon which they can build and be more creative than before.
All three blog sites are now live, featuring brand new editorial content, multiple design languages, and a digestible structure for both back- and front-end users. The end of our work marked the beginning of theirs – the team at Wacoal is fully trained in using the site and ready to take their digital strategy to new heights.
